I've been planning to write a review about this book and i decided to hold off until i do my ABIM oncology exam which i did few hours ago.

The book basically covers the entire Devita's oncology chapters and i must say this helped me a lot in focusing on each system.

I agree with the previous comment about the negative questions and there are quite number of them in each chapter.

SO................

Did this book help me in answering some of the ABIM questions ? yes it did

Did the book give me new knowledge that i didn't know ? yes it did

Did the book made me aware of the importance of some concepts that i already know ? yes it did

should i expect the same questions in the exam ? no , but very close and same concepts being tested

My experience : i did almost the entire book before the board and i'm glad i did.

Final thought :

I Think using this book with ASCO-SEP and ASH-SAP gives you a good practice and preparation for the ABIM oncology.
