It is a good book to give a detail explanation about how agile manufacturing is all about. This book was written in 1998 so there was a bit outdated for some info. However, the concept is very useful.
By combining this book with Dr. Anderson's "Build to Order and Mass Customization", you will find the knowledge is very valuable.
For ex: dimension of commercialization can be achieved through market, process and product according to this book, you can combine this idea with Anderson's instruction.
Another example will be in order to be agile, you need a better information and cash flow system according to this book. Anderson's book does cover an effective order entry system (I don't recall Anderson's book mentioned about the cash flow).
