A Practical Guide to Botulinum Toxin Procedures (Cosmetic Procedures) Review
This book is a must have for physicians performing minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. It is detailed yet concise. The book begins with a section on anatomy with impressive large color illustrations. The next section provides a thorough overview and details contraindications, equipment, reconstitution, general injection techniques, and complications. The bulk of the book is broken up into chapters, each dedicated to single procedure. These range from basic procedures including frown lines and crow's feet to more advanced procedures including eyebrow lifts and neck bands. Each chapter includes before and after photos, reviews indications, more anatomy illustrations, and a "step by step" guide along with additional photos portraying the performance of each procedure with (my favorite) safety zones, injection points and doses clearly illustrated!
